It is my pleasure to offer you this Porcelain Delft Blue Gravy Bowl produced by Ernst Teichert in Meissen, Saxony Germany.
Ernst Teichert established his factory in 1884 and initially produced walltiles but added houshold porcelain to that in 1912. In 1919 the name was changed to Somag Saxonian Stove and Walltile Works A.G.
In 1923 Ernst Teichert died and the shares of his company were taken over by The Meissen Stove and Porcelain Factory (formerly Carl Teichert) and production of this type of items stopped in 1925.
Marked at the underside with the blue underglazed arrow and an imprinted text: "COLLN MEISSEN" and a painted "14".
AGE: 1915-1920
DIMENSIONS: L x W are 8.5 x 5.5 inches.
CONDITION: This bowl is in GOOD condition. One of the ears has a hairline close to the base like can be seen on the big picture on top. This is not reglued but the picture gives a bad impression. I cleaned that part and it shows far better now. No cracks, chips, flakes or any other flaws.
The white spots on some pictures are the reflection of my photo lights.
