 It is my pleasure to offer you this monumental handpainted Delft Painting on an oval wall charger, produced in the last quarter of the 19th century.

This plate with an undulated rim shows 2 well painted fisherboats and has been produced in Germany where I found it, maybe by F. Mehlem in Bonn (considering the imprinted marks on the back). The painter signed at the front with "Hoffmann".

Marked at the back with an imprinted product# 3199, and dC/23, and in handwriting "Delft" and "7226R.

AGE: 1890-1895

DIMENSIONS: Height is 18.25 inches, width is 14 inches (=46.5 x 36cm).

CONDITION: EXCELLENT. This plate is in PERFECT condition. The back side shows a tension-line caused during production (see picture). No cracks, chips, flakes or any other flaws. A real treasure for any TOP QUALITY HANDPAINTED DELFT Collection.

The white spots on some pictures are the reflection of my photo lights.
