This plate is the first one in a series of 4, started in 1990 to raise funds for research by the Cancer Foundation. "Fascination of Nature" was the motto with which the internationally renowned artist Karin Blume designed these plates in her inimitable way. Heinrich Porcelain produced them in the finest quality hard-porcelain, only using special porcelain colors that give Karin Blume's art its special intensity. These plates were issued in a limited edition.
