It is my pleasure to offer you this Polychrome DELFT CLOCK SET produced by REGINA Gouda.
The Regina factory opened its doors in 1898 in Gouda as a ceramic pipe factory and started making decorative pottery in 1915. The initials of the owners at that time, George A. Barras and the brothers Dirk and Gerrit van der Want, were part of the factory logo (Crown plus WB). Regina is most famous for its beautiful GOUDA and ART pottery but also produced some of the best modern handpainted Delftware available.
Regina closed its doors in 1979.
This set consists of a clock and 2 side vases and is an example of the many nice items of this facory. Each front shows a sea scape and the sides are decorated with flowers. The vases also are decorated at the back side. It was produced in a limited edition of 999 and this is # 101.
Marked at the bottom with "Regina", The factory logo (Crown and the initials WB), the mould# xxA and the painters name "Cammerlaan".
The clock is in good working condition and comes with a new battery.
