It is my pleasure to offer you this nice pot produced by Plateelfabriek Zuid Holland PZH in Gouda The Netherlands.
PZH was the first major ornamental pottery in Gouda and became the leading and by far biggest earthenware factory that produced the famous Gouda Plateel. After World War I many other factories in Gouda and surroundings who first produced pipes and tiles were infected by their succes and copied the brightly colored PZH glazings.
PZH survived nearly all of them but had to close its doors in 1964 because of their expensive production methods where every single piece was handpainted.
This pot is fylly signed at the bottom side with the decoration name, factory logo, painter's initial JH and yearmark X showing 1925 as yaer of production.
