It is my pleasure to offer you this handpainted wall plate produced by Chemkefa Maastricht.

Chemkefa was founded by Leendert Zwikker when Royal Sphinx in Maastricht closed its ceramics division in 1969. So Leendert lost his employer and he started his own pottery. He specialized in wall plates of different sizes until 16½ inch with traditional Dutch designs and landscapes. Most of them are screen printed but he also produced some very nice handpainted plates.

This is such a handpainted plate, fully marked at the back side.

AGE: 1970-1975

DIMENSIONS: Diameter is 11.75 inches.

CONDITION: EXCELLENT. This plate is in PERFECT condition. No cracks, chips, flakes or any other flaws.

The white spots on some pictures are the reflection of my photo lights.
