 It is my pleasure to offer you this glossy covered pot, probably used as a tobacco jar but also suitable as a trinket box. It has been produced by the Royal Plateelfabriek Zuid Holland in Gouda.

Unfortunately it has a 1 inch hairline from the toprim down and a chip at the inner side of the lid (see pictures). Both flaws are not in the line of eye so for the collector of this special pattern it still is a wonderful and useable item.

Fully marked at the bottom with the mould# 2895. the pattern name BANDA, "Royal Zuid Holland", the factory logo, The painters initial S and a yearmark of the fourties of last century.

AGE: 1945-1949

DIMENSIONS: Height is 6 inches, diameter is 6½ inches.

Because of the flaws mentioned in the description a low price for this nice and rare pot.

The white spots on some pictures are the reflection of my photo lights.
