Product Description

It is my pleasure to offer you this vintage Porcelain Art Nouveau Vase produced by Friedrich Christian Greiner & Sons in Rauenstein Germany.

In 1738 Johann Georg Greiner obtained a concession from the Duke Georg of Saxony-Meiningen for a porcelain factory, together with his son and his cousin. They produced coffee and tea sets, cups and pipe bowls. In the mid of the 19th century production was extended to include table ware and decorative porcelain, figurines and dolls.

After 1900 the name of the company was changed into Porcelain Factory Rauenstein and existed until 1936.
